At Donnellon McCarthy, we not only have the responsibility, we have the wherewithal to make a difference due to our leadership role in the local business communities we serve. We have aligned ourselves with the manufacturers that are on the forefront of sustainability. In addition, Donnellon McCarthy’s people work hand-in-hand with our customers to enforce and enhance their “green” initiatives and have them recognized as responsible corporate citizens. Samplings of steps we are taking to improve environmental friendliness include:

  • Ensuring all equipment can be de-manufactured
  • Re-using parts still in “cycle of life” quality
  • 100% recycling of toner cartridges including toner recycling boxes and prepaid shipping labels for easy return (All shipping materials are biodegradable)
  • Encouraging customers to keep documents in electronic form and printing both sides of the paper for lengthy documents or whenever possible
  • Representing onlu manufacturers that adhere to ENERGY STAR Version 1.1
  • Savin/Ricoh-Named one of the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World five consecutive years (2005-2009)

    In addition to the demands we’ve placed on our manufacturers and the assistance we’re providing customers, Donnellon McCarthy has also taken internal steps to make sure we are recognized as an Eco-Friendly corporation:

    • Encourage carpooling
    • Installing auto lighting and climate control devices in our facilities
    • Recycling Centers established in our facilities for paper, bottles, cans and plastic
